This can also be added to other catch cans on the market (ie: Mishimoto,) for when you gut the factory PCV valve. Once the PCV is removed there is nothing to keep the boost pressure in the intake manifold from entering the crankcase. THIS is the what you will need to add to prevent any problems from excessive pressure in your crankcase.
Option with catch can
One way check valve splice into the Catch Can outlet side for oil catch can (V1,V2,V3) , and flow away from the Catch Can. This is to prevent any back flow through the PCV system and the Catch Can itself.Recommend for all Forced Induction or Turbo applications. the check valve has directional arrow to ensure proper direction of installation (arrow points towards intake manifold source, points away from PCV valve).
Option with vacuum line
it prevents reverse flow in vacuum and boost lines. It takes just 0.25 Psi to open check valve in forward direction. In reverse direction
PRO Check Valve
This is a necessary upgrade to your ADD W1 catch can, if you are running Turbo or Supercharger Engine or heavily modified car, We have found it a great upgrade to swap out the check valve (between the intake manifold and the catch can) for the ADD W1 100psi PRO check valve.
